Monferr'Autore Festival — An Encounter with Bruno Gambarotta

The rebirth of the Monferr'Autore Festival has its roots in a historic series that took place in the Monferrato between 2005 and 2007. The project, taken up and relaunched by Enrico Deregibus with AccademiaMonferrato Musica&Danza, brings back to the villages of the Province of Alessandria a program made of singer-songwriter music, concerts, theater, and literature.

The philosophy of the festival is to map the territory: bringing important names of Italian culture to even the smallest centers, enhancing the towns and squares of the Monferrato, a recognized UNESCO World Heritage site. It is in this vein that author encounters like the one dedicated to Bruno Gambarotta in Gamalero are included, designed as bridges between music, words, and the local community.
