Edition 2025 — Geographies

In March 2025, Monfalcone Geografie brought dozens of meetings with writers, journalists, and scholars to the city, reading the present through the maps and borders of our time. Among the historic venues of the festival, from the Teatro Comunale to the Casa delle Geografie, and the usual GeoRagazzi section dedicated to schools.

The 2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of Monfalcone Geografie confirmed the festival's formula: five days of meetings between geography, current affairs, and literature, with the participation of numerous leading figures in journalism and essay writing. The events took place in the city's symbolic locations, from the Casa delle Geografie to the Teatro Comunale, from the Galleria d'Arte Contemporanea to the MuCa.

In 2025, the GeoRagazzi section also involved local schools, bringing students and teachers closer to the themes of maps and borders, in line with a cultural project promoted by the Municipality with the Pordenonelegge.it Foundation.
