Mondo Contadino 2025, the fifteenth edition

The 2025 edition of Mondo Contadino, the fifteenth, brought the shores of Lake Roncone to life on September 20 and 21, 2025, confirming its status as one of the most beloved autumn events in the Chiese Valley and Trentino.

At the heart of the festival were the cattle show with the crowning of Brown Swiss and Holstein champions, the hay-mowing competition, the Junior Handler Competition, and demonstrations of the caserada. The Formai da Mot Festival celebrated high-altitude alpine cheese, accompanied by cooking shows with chefs and pastry experts, traditional lunches with polenta and spit-roasted meats, children's workshops, and live music. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Roncone with the Chiese Valley Breeders' Union and the Municipality of Sella Giudicarie, maintained free admission.
