Edition 2025 — Molinella Eel and Frog Festival

In 2025, the Molinella Eel and Frog Festival also presented its spring edition on the weekends of May, in the square of the former Eridania in Traghetto. Organized by the "Walter Tinarelli" PD Club, the event confirmed its established format: dinner on Saturday evenings and lunch on Sundays, with valley dishes based on eel, frogs, and fish that have drawn gourmets from all over the province of Bologna and the nearby Ferrara region for years.

The 2025 edition of the Molinella Eel and Frog Festival renewed the spring appointment in the hamlet of Traghetto, at the square of the former Eridania Sugar Factory. As tradition dictates, the "Walter Tinarelli" PD Club enlivened the May weekends with valley cuisine.

On the tables, the great classics of the festival: grilled eel, fried frogs and frogs in sauce, frog risotto, mixed fried fish, and Adriatic fish grills, with dinner service on Saturdays and lunch on Sundays, and mandatory table reservations. A popular and convivial formula that makes this festival one of the most beloved gastronomic events in the low Bolognese plain.
