Edition 2025 — Modugno Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Modugno Carnival concluded on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with the traditional Merry Funeral of Zi Rocc. In the afternoon, the opening of the laughing wake around the puppet, followed by the costumed funeral procession through many streets of the center, and finally the grand bonfire in Piazza Sedile at 8 PM, amidst dancing, music, and performances.

Modugno Carnival 2025

The 2025 Modugno Carnival reached its climax on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The day opened in the afternoon with the laughing wake of Zi Rocc, the playful vigil around Modugno's traditional mask.

This was followed by the funeral procession in costume that crossed many streets of the city, ending in Piazza Sedile, where at 8 PM the large bonfire was lit with dancing, music, and performances. The organization was handled by the Associazione Officina dei Tempi and Amo Modugno, with the involvement of the Municipality of Modugno.
