Edition 2025 — Modena Film Festival

Throughout 2025, the Modena Film Festival project takes shape: the LongTake editorial team and the Crispy Cinema Club APS association announce the birth of a new international film festival in Modena, with the support of Fondazione di Modena. In 2025, the concept of the "five senses," the venues, and the dates for the first edition, set for April 2026, are defined.

The Modena Film Festival did not yet have a proper edition in 2025; its first edition is in April 2026. However, 2025 was the year of the project's genesis. Under the direction of Andrea Chimento and with the artistic curation of the association Crispy Cinema Club APS, in collaboration with the publication LongTake, the identity of the new Modena festival was built.

During this preparatory phase, the original concept — cinema told through the five senses — the city venues (Cinema Astra, Sala Truffaut, Acetaia Giusti), and the dates for the first edition were defined. The project received support from Fondazione di Modena and the patronage of the Municipality of Modena, laying the groundwork for its 2026 debut.
