Mittsommerfest / Midsummer Festival (Ferragosto Grand Festival)

The 2025 edition of the Mittsommerfest took place on August 15th in Sand in Taufers (Campo Tures), South Tyrol. Following the solemn morning mass, the procession departed at 11:30 AM, passing through the center with brass bands from Sand in Taufers and Ahornach, folk dance groups from Luttach, Montan, and Assling, the Schützen, the Knights of Tures, and historical decorated floats.

At 12:30 PM, the Volunteer Firefighters' summer festival opened at the pavilion. The afternoon program featured the Schuhplattler from Pfunders at 1:00 PM, musical entertainment with Mawalaaaa from 2:30 PM, children's activities from 3:30 PM, and in the evening, from 7:00 PM, a tribute to Zucchero by the Sugar Project. A day of celebration blending faith, folklore, and conviviality in the municipality of Campo Tures.
