Edition 2025 — Minimo Comune Multiplo

In 2025, Minimo Comune Multiplo had not yet been established: the festival debuted in Bardi in March 2026 as its absolute first edition. However, in the preceding months, the municipality of upper Val Ceno had initiated the participatory process, funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region's 2025 Participation Call, which would lead to the creation of this social innovation festival dedicated to combating depopulation in the internal areas of the Parma Apennines.

Towards the first festival

During 2025, the Municipality of Bardi, in the Parma Apennines, laid the groundwork for Minimo Comune Multiplo through a participatory process supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region's 2025 Participation Call (Line B). The goal was to build, together with the local community and researchers and professionals from the area, a stable initiative dedicated to the issue of depopulation in internal areas and the regeneration of mountain villages. From this work, the festival was born, with its first edition held from March 13 to 15, 2026, confirming Bardi as a focal point for the debate on the internal areas of Emilia-Romagna.
