Edition 2025 — Mine Festival

Mine Festival is a newly established event: its first edition is scheduled for June 2026. Throughout 2025, the It's Mine project worked on the cultural enhancement of Emarèse's former asbestos mines, laying the groundwork for the event through site reclamation and the involvement of the local community, the Pro Loco, and local associations.

The Mine Festival debuts in 2026 and therefore does not have a 2025 edition in the strict sense. However, the event is rooted in a multi-year process: the project It's Mine. Tests for the cultural enhancement of the Emarèse asbestos mines accompanied, also during 2025, the long work of reclamation and cultural reappropriation of the former mining sites in the municipality of Emarèse, in Valle d'Aosta. From this journey—made of meetings, research, and the involvement of residents, the Pro Loco, and associations like La Clé sur la Porte—the idea of a festival capable of returning these places to the community in the form of art, music, and conviviality was born.
