Edition 2025 — Acquacotta Festival
The 52nd Midsummer Festival and Acquacotta Festival was held in Montecoronaro, a hamlet of Verghereto (FC), on August 2 and 3, 2025, organized by the Pro Loco.
The heart of the event was acquacotta, the humble peasant tradition dish prepared with onion, tomato, herbs, toasted bread, pecorino cheese, and eggs, served at the food stands along with polenta, tagliatelle, wild boar, and grilled meats. The festival animated the village alleys with music, markets, and attractions, confirming itself as one of the most beloved summer events in the upper Savio valley.
