About Microbase
From Missile Base to Community Space
In Peseggia, a hamlet of Scorzè in the province of Venice, the former NATO missile base (the "Site 5", on via Spangaro) is a place steeped in history: born as a military installation during the Cold War, it is now a recovered space returned to the community. This is where Microbase comes to life, the spring preview of the Base Festival.
Music, Food, and Gathering
Microbase is a unique day of celebration, with free admission: from morning until late evening, DJ sets and concerts alternate, accompanied by street food offerings and a social space. The event is organized by Musica Base APS, an association founded in 2023 by a group of young people from Scorzè active in organizing cultural events in the area, with the patronage of the Municipality of Scorzè.
The Spirit of the Project
For Musica Base, festivals are moments of social gathering among different generations and opportunities for active reappropriation of public space. Microbase is its more intimate and intimate version, which anticipates the major summer edition of the Base Festival, expected in the same location.
Microbase — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Microbase is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the former missile base in Peseggia di Scorzè. A day of music, food, and community with free admission, preview of the summer edition of the Base Festival. Organized by Musica Base APS, with the patronage of the Municipality of Scorzè.
