Edition 2025 — Michetta Festival
In 2025, Dolceacqua also celebrated the Michetta Festival on August 16th, renewing the tradition of distributing the typical sweet among the alleys and commemorating the revolt of 1364 against the jus primae noctis.
The 2025 edition of the Michetta Festival confirmed the value of one of Dolceacqua's most cherished traditions. Among the village alleys, the distribution of the typical De.C.O. sweet and the cheerful musical procession evoked the historical episode of 1364 and the symbol of freedom associated with the michetta.
The festival, with free admission, attracted residents and visitors to the heart of the Val Nervia, confirming the deep bond between the town and its historical memory.
