MICfest – Music in the Castle

The XXII edition of Music in the Castle (2025) ran from June 19 to September 5 with 45 events spread across 35 municipalities. In Castell'Arquato, in the province of Piacenza, the event took place on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Parco delle Driadi with the show "The Alpalachians – Folk from the Mountains of America", which featured Alex Gariazzo (vocals and guitars), Carlotta Sillano (vocals and keyboards), and Cecilia (vocals and harp) on stage.

That edition spanned very different genres: from the singer-songwriter style of Paolo Jannacci to the pop of Santi Francesi, from the reggae of Pitura Freska to the jazz of the "Jazz in Castello" series with Vincent Peirani and Fred Hersch, up to the classical music of the Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic. As per tradition, all events were free admission.
