Mezzogoro Peanut and Pop Corn Festival

The 2025 Edition

The fourth edition of the Peanut and Pop Corn Festival was held in Mezzogoro, a hamlet of Codigoro (Ferrara), in the heart of the Emilia-Romagna Po Delta, from June 13 to 17, 2025, with a final event on Sunday, June 29.

The program alternated gastronomy and culture: the stall with specialties based on peanuts and popcorn, the fourth Peanut and Pop Corn Grand Prix by mountain bike, bike excursions with Fiab, guided tours aboard Pitoch's mini-train through the Bonifiche Ferraresi company, exhibitions, and conferences. On the entertainment front, the performance by the orchestra Mirko Casadei in tribute to Romagna folk music was highly acclaimed, while the tombola offered a prize pool of €5,000. There was also space for the second edition of Mezzogoro Comix, with games and cosplay. The edition saw over a thousand more visitors compared to the previous year.
