Meraner Weihnacht / Merano Christmas Market (Christkindlmarkt)

The Meraner Weihnacht 2025 was held from November 27, 2025, to January 6, 2026, with the usual closure on December 25th. As per tradition, over 80 wooden stalls enlivened the Passirio Promenade, Piazza delle Terme, and the historic village of Piazza della Rena in the center of Merano.

Visitors were able to find South Tyrolean crafts, decorations, and typical products, as well as the essential mulled wine, apple strudel, speck, and canederli. There was no shortage of family attractions, including an ice rink, heated Alessi spheres, a living nativity, and a children's carousel, accompanied by the musical sounds of choirs and bands along the Passirio river.
