Edition 2025 — OrgelKunst Festival

The 33rd edition of the Meran-Vinschgau International Organ Academy Festival (OrgelKunst) took place in July 2025, bringing international organists to perform on the historic organs of the Vinschgau Valley and the Burgraviato: from the Monte Maria convent to the churches of Lagundo, Stelvio, and Laces, including the oldest organ in South Tyrol, housed at Castel Coira. A refined journey through sacred, baroque, and early music in the South Tyrolean mountains.

2025 Edition — the 33rd OrgelKunst Festival

The 33rd edition of the festival opened on July 12, 2025, in the collegiate church of Monte Maria (Marienberg) with the Innsbrucker Hofmusik ensemble, which performed music by Giovanni Antonio Rigatti taken from the convent's musical archives.

In the following days, great performers took the stage: Simone Vebber from Trento on the Pirchner organ in Lagundo, Manuel Tomadin from Trieste on the Sies organ in Stelvio, and Catalina Vicens, who brought the famous 1559 Strobl-Baldachinorgel at Castel Coira—the oldest organ in South Tyrol—back to life. On July 17, a traveling concert through the churches and chapels of Laces concluded the program with Fabio Rigali, Lukas Punter, and Marian Polin.
