Meraki Book Festival

2025 Edition - "From Thread to Canvas"

The 4th edition of the Meraki Book Festival was held in Palazzolo Acreide on September 6th and 7th, 2025, with an evocative title: "From Thread to Canvas". The theme, inspired by mythology, used Ariadne's thread and Penelope's canvas as symbols of patience, cunning, and the construction of storytelling.

The inauguration, set for 5:30 PM on Saturday, September 6th with institutional greetings, saw the Municipal Auditorium serve as the main venue for the first time, while the book fair was arranged under the arches of Corso Vittorio Emanuele and the creative and craft market in the Civic Atrium. The program alternated between presentations and thematic sessions dedicated to various authors and literary genres.

Among the side activities, operators from the Anthropological Museum of Testa dell'Acqua offered two workshops dedicated to nature and magical traditions, while the Iblean Museum Network System organized an excursion to the former Palazzolo Acreide train station. Admission was free.
