The 68th Grape Festival

The 2025 edition of the Mentana Grape Festival took place on October 4th and 5th in the historic center, with the heart of the event in Piazza Garibaldi. The tasting trail brought together wines from about thirty Italian producers, with over a hundred labels available for tasting, with the glass provided at the entrance.

The three food areas offered regional specialties, while the ciambella a cancello, the anise-flavored biscuit that is the symbol of Mentana, accompanied the toasts as per tradition. During the two evenings, masterclasses were held inside the MuCAM—dedicated to the Bellone grape variety and wines from heroic viticulture—with civic museums open in the evening. Live music enlivened the squares until late at night, confirming the festival as one of the most popular autumn events in the Roman Sabina.
