Edition 2025 — Trunk Fair

In 2025, Melizzano was the protagonist of the Trunk Fair twice. On May 3, Piazza Tiglio and the streets of the historic center were filled with cars with open trunks, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, featuring vintage items, books, restored furniture, Sannio products, workshops, and music. On September 21, the village then hosted the stage dedicated to the fair's birthday, included in the itinerant calendar sponsored by the Campania Region and the Province of Benevento.

The 2025 edition confirmed the bond between the Trunk Fair and Melizzano, the town in the Province of Benevento where the event was born. The stop on Saturday, May 3, 2025, took place in Piazza Tiglio and along the streets of the historic center with continuous hours from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM: private exhibitors displayed antiques and vintage items, second-hand goods, books, home accessories, and typical Sannio products from their car trunks, alongside workshops, music, and refreshment points.

2025 was also the year the format ventured further: after Solopaca (July 5-6), Rocca San Felice (July 12-13), Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi (August 4), and San Giorgio del Sannio (August 23), the calendar returned to Melizzano on September 21 for the fair's birthday stage, before the season finale in Apice Vecchia (October 5). Free participation for the public, reserved for association members for those who wanted to exhibit.

Programme

Melizzano hosted the Trunk Fair on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Piazza Tiglio, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with trunk displays along the streets of the historic center, creative workshops, live music, and food stalls. On September 21, 2025, the fair returned to the village for the stage dedicated to its birthday. The 2025 itinerant calendar also included Solopaca (July 5-6, Saturday 4:00 PM-10:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM-10:00 PM), Rocca San Felice (July 12-13), Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi (August 4), San Giorgio del Sannio (August 23), and Apice Vecchia (October 5).
