Melegnano Forgiveness Fair

The 2025 edition of the Forgiveness Fair confirmed the 463rd recurrence of a tradition that has lasted uninterrupted in Melegnano since the 16th century. In 2025 too, the heart of the festival was the historical procession in costume, which started from the Medicean Castle and culminated with the exhibition of the Bull of Forgiveness in the Basilica of San Giovanni Battista.

Around the religious celebration, the large market, the funfair, shows, exhibitions, and the traditional Gran Premio del Perdono cycling race took place, in an event that attracts thousands of visitors every year to the southern part of the Province of Milan.
