Edition 2025 — MEI Faenza

The 2025 edition of MEI took place in Faenza from October 3rd to 5th, with a preview on October 2nd, to celebrate the showcase's thirtieth anniversary. Three days of free concerts, forums, exhibitions, and fairs in the historic center, featuring over a hundred artists on the stages of Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Libertà, and Piazza Martiri della Libertà, and the awarding of the historic MEI Plaques.

MEI 2025 celebrated the event's thirtieth anniversary with three days of independent music in the historic center of Faenza, from October 3rd to 5th. Concerts were held for free on the stages of Piazza del Popolo (Central Stage), Piazza della Libertà (Crescendo Stage), and Piazza Martiri della Libertà (Moro Stage), as well as in the Galleria della Molinella and the Salone delle Bandiere.

Among the over one hundred artists, notable were Eugenio Finardi, awarded Independent Artist, Anna Castiglia (MEI Emerging Plaque), Tony Esposito (Music for Peace Award), and Antonella Ruggiero (Career Award). The Record Fair, the Music Journalism Forum, and the Indie White Night on Saturday were also featured. Admission to all events was free.
