The 22nd edition of the Mediterranean Festival was held in Canicattini Bagni (Province of Syracuse) from July 4 to September 30, 2025, with free admission to all events and evening shows starting at 9:00 PM, promoted by the municipal administration led by Mayor Paolo Amenta with the Department of Tourism and Entertainment.
Musical highlights included concerts by Roy Paci & Arethuska (August 15), Mario Incudine (September 5), and actor Tony Sperandeo (August 3), as well as performances by Gianmarco Carroccia, Millewatt (883 tribute), I Replay (Pooh tribute), and local bands. The theatre programme, entrusted to amateur companies "Le Maschere" and "Il Sipario", opened on July 4 with "Chista sì ca è miseria".
Culture was also in the spotlight with the presentation of the book "Virdimura" by Simona Lo Iacono (July 12, TEMPO Museum) and the festivals of typical Iblean products — Pane Cunzato, Cavatieddi, and other local delicacies — spread throughout the summer.
