Medimex — International Festival & Music Conference

Medimex 2025 was held in Taranto from June 17 to 21, with a program of 70 events over five days, including major international concerts, showcases, professional and educational activities, meetings, exhibitions, and storytelling. The artistic direction benefited from the pro-bono consultancy of Antonio Diodato and Michele Riondino.

Two key evenings took place at the Rotonda del Lungomare: Friday, June 20, opened by the Apulian band Comrad, followed by Primal Scream and St. Vincent; Saturday, June 21, opened by the Apulian project Kyoto, followed by Massive Attack. From June 18 to 20, in the courtyard of the Castello Aragonese, the special project Le strade del Mediterraneo brought sunset performances by female voices La Niña, Bab L'Bluz, and Magalí Datzira, chosen by Diodato. At the MArTA, the photo exhibition Amy Winehouse — Before Frank by Charles Moriarty was on display, featuring over 50 images of the British artist.
