Edition 2025 — The King's Passage
2025 Edition
On August 27, 2025, at 5:30 PM, Piazza Matteotti in Trasacco hosted the second edition of the historical pageant "The King's Passage... Charles I of Anjou". The re-enactment, dedicated to the Angevin king's journey through the Marsica region after the 1268 Battle of Tagliacozzo, featured numerous costumed performers, knights, flag-wavers, and musicians, with the local nobility welcoming the sovereign as he headed toward Marruvium.
The event was promoted by the Carlo I d'Anjou Cultural Studies Center, chaired by architect Lorenzo Fallocco, together with the municipal administration of Trasacco led by Mayor Cesidio Lobene, with the support of the Carispaq Foundation, as part of the "Medieval Marsica — The Battle of Europe" project.
