Medieval Banquet

In 2025, the Medieval Banquet once again enlivened the Cloister of the Church of San Francesco in Castiglion Fiorentino, confirming itself as one of the most anticipated events of the Maggio Castiglionese. Organized by the Terziere di Porta Fiorentina, the event offered the usual immersive experience in the Late Middle Ages.

The guests, welcomed by the hosts in period costume, enjoyed sweet-and-sour and spiced dishes served in terracotta bowls, amidst performances by jesters, jugglers, musicians, and flag-wavers. The evening, with limited seating and mandatory reservation, brought back the tradition of the reenactment dinner that has characterized the Castiglionese spring for over twenty years.
