May Day Festival

The debut of the May Day Festival in 2025 marked the birth in Galliate of an event dedicated to young people and the theme of work. The event, hosted in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, was designed to foster reflection, discussion, and sharing on the challenges of contemporary work: precariousness, wages, rights, and future prospects.

The day was divided into two main parts: a public debate in the late afternoon, with guests, labor organizations, testimonies, and interventions by young workers and association representatives, followed by evening musical entertainment. With over 2,000 attendees, the success of the first edition prompted the Municipality to re-propose the festival with an even richer formula.
