May Day Festival - Festa Rossa Lari

The 11th edition of the Festa Rossa of the Workers in Lari, a district of Casciana Terme Lari in the Province of Pisa, was held on May 1st, 2025 with the slogan #DISERTIAMO — No work for the war economy, a declaration against every form of militarization of labor and in favor of an economy of peace and solidarity.

From 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, the village hosted concerts, performances, thematic debates, exhibitions, children's workshops, and a locally sourced food area spread across several squares. In Piazza Aleksandra Kollontaj, performers included La Balotta Continua (ska), Hotel La Salle (blues), Lou Tapage (rock and folk), and 71JPM (reggae and roots). There was also a craft market and a stand from the Tra Le Righe bookstore. The festival, self-financed and eco-friendly, was created entirely by volunteers.
