Edition 2025 — May Day at the Convent

On May 1st, 2025, May Day at the Convent brought Gagliano Aterno to life with concerts from 12:00 PM to midnight in the garden of the Santa Chiara Convent. The edition took place during the village's season of rebirth, in the same months that the restored convent returned to hosting municipal offices and new community spaces, the heart of the "Ritornanti al Convento" project.

The 2025 edition of May Day at the Convent took place on May 1st in the garden of the Santa Chiara Convent in Gagliano Aterno, featuring the usual live music program from noon until midnight. The festival coincided with an important phase for the village: in the spring of 2025, the restored convent was returned to the community with municipal offices and new hospitality spaces, while the "Ritornanti al Convento" regeneration project received European-level recognition. A May Day that combined music, community, and rebirth in one of the symbolic villages of inland Abruzzo.
