Edition 2025 — MAXXI BVLGARI Prize
The 4th edition of the MAXXI BVLGARI Prize, inaugurated in October 2024, continued into the first months of 2025 at the MAXXI in Rome, in the Flaminio district. On display were works by the three finalists Riccardo Benassi, Monia Ben Hamouda, and Binta Diaw, each featuring a site-specific piece created for the museum.
On January 17, 2025, in the Carlo Scarpa Hall, the jury announced Monia Ben Hamouda as the winner with "Theology of Collapse," an installation composed of laser-cut iron panels treated with spices such as hibiscus, cinnamon, and paprika. The work has become part of the MAXXI Collection. The finalists' exhibition remained open to the public until March 2, 2025.
