Matino Carnival 2025: the 22nd edition

On March 3, 2025, the twenty-second edition of the Matino Carnival took place in Matino (LE), an afternoon of celebration dedicated to the little ones and the entire community. The meeting point was set for 2:00 PM in the Villa Comunale area, from where the masquerade procession set off to reach Piazza Umberto I.

The protagonists were the students of the N. Sauro and R. Gentile primary schools — in particular the first and second grades — who paraded in colorful costumes amidst music, masks, and joy. The initiative was organized by the Matino Comprehensive School with the patronage of the Municipal Administration of the City of Matino and the 'Sant'Ermete' Pro Loco. Admission was free and open.
