Mataner Advent

The Mataner Advent 2025 was held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the historic center of Montan/Montagna on the Wine Road, opening the Advent season. The day began in the morning with the Rorate Mass in the parish church, followed by the opening of the market along the village alleys.

Between crafts, music, regional delicacies, and decorated historic courtyards, there was no shortage of activities for the little ones - Advent storytelling, pony rides, a slide, and a petting zoo - as well as Christmas craft workshops in the library. In 2025, the food stall managed by the South Tyrolean Women Farmers (SBO) of Montan once again served a charitable purpose: at the subsequent assembly, 1,500 euros were donated to the farmers' solidarity fund (Bäuerlicher Notstandsfonds).
