Edition 2025 — Massa d'Estate Festival

The 16th edition of the Massa d'Estate Festival took place on August 5 and 6, 2025, in the illuminated squares of Minervino di Lecce, organized by the Pro Loco Minerva. The star was the massa di San Giuseppe, served alongside other traditional Salento specialties. On August 5, the festival opened with a marching band parade, while on August 6, the Sciacuddhruzzi band took the stage, enlivening the square with the rhythm of traditional Salento folk music.

Massa d'Estate Festival 2025

The sixteenth edition of the Massa d'Estate Festival was held on August 5 and 6, 2025, in Minervino di Lecce, in the squares of the historic center illuminated for the occasion. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Minerva, confirmed its role as a beloved appointment of the Salento summer, blending gastronomic tradition and conviviality.

The heart of the festival was the massa di San Giuseppe, a typical dish of the Salento tradition, accompanied by other local specialties prepared with regional ingredients. The program alternated between taste and music: August 5 saw the opening with a marching band parade, while on August 6, the evening was enlivened by a concert from the Sciacuddhruzzi, a group linked to folk music and Salento pizzica, which engaged the audience of all ages.
