Edition 2025 — Mascerada degli Achedi

The Mascerada degli Achedi does not take place every year: it is a rare event that returns only every four or five years. In 2025, no new edition took place in Coredo, as the community awaited the 2026 event. The tradition of the Coredana Masquerade, with the masks of the Kellera and the Bekar, remains a strong identity element for the community of Predaia, in Val di Non.

A carnival that is not annual

Unlike most carnivals, the Mascerada degli Achedi of Coredo (Municipality of Predaia, in Val di Non) is not celebrated every year. The multi-year cycle, every four or five years, is an integral part of its identity and contributes to making each edition an exceptional event for the entire community of the Val di Non, in Trentino-Alto Adige.

In 2025, no new edition of the Coredana Masquerade was held: the community was preparing for the return of the event, with the story of the Kellera and the Bekar and the grand procession through the village streets.
