Edition 2025 — Mascagni Festival

The 6th edition of the Mascagni Festival (August 2 - September 13, 2025) celebrated the 80th anniversary of Pietro Mascagni's death in Livorno. Inaugurated at the Fortezza Vecchia with Elio in 'Largo al Factotum', it featured Giancarlo Giannini and Max Gazzé, with events spread across the Terrazza Mascagni and other local landmarks. The festival concluded with the opera 'L'Amico Fritz' at the Teatro Goldoni.

The sixth edition of the Mascagni Festival took place in Livorno from August 2 to September 13, 2025, marking the 80th anniversary of the death of Pietro Mascagni. The inauguration at the Fortezza Vecchia featured Elio in the show Largo al Factotum. The Terrazza Mascagni hosted numerous events, including Mascagni, il divo with Giancarlo Giannini (August 26) and a concert by the National Fire Brigade Band. The festival concluded on September 12-13 at the Teatro Goldoni with the opera L'Amico Fritz, under the artistic direction of Marco Voleri.
