Marzamemi CineFest 2025 - 6th Edition

From September 6 to 10, 2025, the village of Marzamemi, in Pachino (Syracuse), hosted the sixth edition of the International Festival of Mediterranean Identities, under the direction of Denise Spicuglia and with Ester Pantano as the festival ambassador. On two screens set up in the village squares, Italian cinema classics and contemporary works were shown, including titles by Giuseppe Tornatore, as well as short films and documentaries.

Numerous guests met the public, from Anna Foglietta to Mario Incudine, and Ricky Tognazzi and Simona Izzo, who were awarded the UNPLI "Italian Ambassador" Award on the final evening. Alongside the screenings, the program offered live concerts, literary meetings with authors, and showcooking sessions dedicated to local flavors, from the Pachino PGI Tomato to the Syracuse PGI Lemon, along with a contemporary art exhibition in the tonnara spaces. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Marzamemi APS, concluded with the announcement of the 2026 edition.
