Maron Festival - Valrovina

The 2025 edition of the Maron Festival renewed the long tradition born in 1974 in Valrovina. Along the streets of the hillside hamlet of Bassano del Grappa, there were plenty of roasted chestnuts, new wine, and typical dishes, accompanied by the customary maron-based dessert competitions.

Curated by the Associazione Il Castagno and the village volunteers, the festival, as usual, featured dialect theatre, conferences, and music, confirming itself as one of the most beloved autumn events in the Bassano hills.

The detailed programme for the 2025 edition, spread over several mid-October days, reprised the festival's traditional structure: chestnut tastings, the "Dolse al Maron" dessert competition, dialect theatre, conferences, and concerts.
