The Marlene Südtirol Sunshine Race 2025, the 24th edition of the South Tyrolean classic, confirmed Nalles/Nals as a reference point for early-season European cross-country racing. Saturday, April 12 featured the international XCO-HC races, with the challenging nightingale climb deciding the outcome on the 4 km+ lap among blooming apple trees. Swiss supremacy was clear: in the Elite men's race, Luca Schätti won ahead of Luke Wiedmann and Italian Filippo Fontana; in the Elite women's race, Ramona Forchini took victory over Steffi Häberlin and British rider Isla Short. In the Under 23 categories, it was a double win for the Halter family (Nicolas and Monique), while the Junior races saw victories for Italian Ettore Fabbro and Slovenian Maruša Tereza Šerkezi. Sunday, April 13 was dedicated to the young Allievi and Esordienti riders in the village of roses, in the province of Bolzano.
