Mario Puzo Film Festival - Corto e a Capo (Venticano stage)

The eleventh edition of MAPUFF traveled from August 19 to 24, 2025, through the municipalities of Tufo, Colle Sannita, Torre Le Nocelle, San Martino Sannita, Venticano, and San Giorgio del Sannio, reflecting on the theme "Artificial Existences," between reality, fake news, and simulated intelligence.

The day in Venticano, Saturday, August 23, took place at Casa MAPUFF and was one of the most packed: in the afternoon, the "Cinema Stories" masterclass with director and actor Ivano De Matteo, and in the evening, the screening of the finalist short films and the presentation of the Puzo Lifetime Achievement Award to Alessandro Haber, followed by a meeting with the public and a dub concert by Deadbeat & Tikiman.

Other guests of the edition included actor and writer Tony Laudadio in Colle Sannita and Peppe Lanzetta on the final day in San Giorgio del Sannio. Accompanying the screenings were cine-literary aperitifs at the Casa Naima library and the "Screen for Palestine" series.
