Edition 2025 — Mario Puzo Film Festival

The 11th edition of the Mario Puzo Film Festival – Corto e a Capo took place from August 19th to 24th, 2025, between Sannio and Irpinia, on the theme 'Artificial Existences', dedicated to the boundary between reality, fake news, legends, and simulated intelligence. San Martino Sannita hosted the evening of Friday, August 22nd, with screenings of competition works, the out-of-competition film 'A supernova boy', and the documentary 'Non si vede ma è reale'.

2025 Edition: 'Artificial Existences'

The eleventh edition of the Mario Puzo Film Festival – Corto e a Capo was held from August 19th to 24th, 2025, with stops in Tufo, Colle Sannita, Torre Le Nocelle, San Martino Sannita, Venticano, and San Giorgio del Sannio. The central theme, 'Artificial Existences', compared reality, fake news, legends, and simulated intelligence through seven competitive sections with works from five continents.

In San Martino Sannita, in the province of Benevento, the evening of Friday, August 22nd, 2025, featured screenings of competition works, the out-of-competition film 'A supernova boy', and the documentary 'Non si vede ma è reale'.

Among the guests of the edition: actor Alessandro Haber, awarded the Puzo Lifetime Achievement Award in Venticano, director and actor Ivano De Matteo with the masterclass 'Cinema Stories', Tony Laudadio, and Peppe Lanzetta. The program was completed by cine-literary aperitifs at the Casa Naima library in Atripalda and daily screenings at Casa Mapuff.
