The centenary 1925-2025

From September 26 to October 6, 2025, Marino celebrated the hundredth anniversary of its Grape Festival with an exceptionally long program spanning eleven days. The opening on Friday, September 26, featured the official inauguration with city authorities and the blessing of the wine, followed by concerts and street performances in the historic center.

The following days included guided tours of the Underground Marino and the Mithraeum, contemporary art exhibitions, guided tastings of local wines, and evening concerts in Piazza San Barnaba. The highlight was Sunday, October 5, with the procession of the Madonna of the Rosary, the Renaissance-style historical pageant dedicated to Marcantonio II Colonna, and the miracle of the fountains, with wine flowing in the late afternoon from the Fontana dei Quattro Mori and the fountain in Piazza San Barnaba. The closing on Monday, October 6, featured a musical performance and expressions of gratitude to local authorities and producers.
