The cultural December of the Di Lascia Award

In December 2025, the Municipality of Rocchetta Sant'Antonio, in the Monti Dauni in the province of Foggia, opened the 15th edition of the Maria Teresa Di Lascia National Award with a calendar of events spread throughout the village, dedicated to culture and female empowerment.

On December 19, the show «Revolucionaria» was staged at the Church of San Giovanni Battista; on December 20, the meeting «Differenti» took place with journalist Attilio Romita and the authors; on December 21, the presentation of the volume «Acquasale - diario civico di un meridionale autocritico» by Gerardo Fascia. On December 22, the village came alive with the «Zampognare» in the historic centre and the traditional tombola, while on December 27 and 28, the «Paese-Presepe Vivente» returned, one of the most anticipated events of the folk traditions of the Monti Dauni.

These events, supported by the Apulia Region, prepared the community for the award ceremony in January 2026, confirming Rocchetta Sant'Antonio as a small but lively cultural centre of the Capitanata.
