Edition 2025 — Maria SS. del Ponte Trophy

The 44th edition of the Maria SS. del Ponte Road Race Trophy took place on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in Partinico, with the start and finish in Piazza Duomo. Organized by ASD Sportamatori Partinico under the aegis of ACSI Palermo, it featured a city circuit of approximately 2,180 meters to be repeated four times. The race was dedicated to the memory of marathon runner Piero Galati.

Maria SS. del Ponte Trophy 2025

The 44th edition was held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, in the streets of the center of Partinico (PA), on a city circuit of about 2,180 meters repeated four times, with start and finish in Piazza Duomo. The youth races opened the afternoon, while the Senior and Master main event started at 7:00 PM, preceded by a minute of silence dedicated to the local marathon runner Piero Galati.

Among the women, Emily Inzirillo (ASD Equilibra Running Team Palermo) won, while the men's race went to Nicola Mazzara (ASD Cosenza K42). The evening concluded with the awards ceremony for the various categories and the traditional refreshment break with gelato and fresh seasonal fruit, in the spirit of the celebrations for the patron saint Maria Santissima del Ponte.
