Edition 2025 — Maria SS. degli Ammalati Trophy

The 27th edition of the Maria SS. degli Ammalati National Road Race Trophy took place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Misterbianco, starting at 6:00 PM from Via Giordano Bruno. The race, held on a 1 km city circuit repeated ten times for a total of 10 km, brought the race back to the historic center as part of the celebrations in honor of the patron saint, confirming the successful relaunch of the historic event organized by ASD Atletica Misterbianco.

The 27th edition of the Maria SS. degli Ammalati National Road Race Trophy took place in Misterbianco (Catania) on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with the start at 6:00 PM from Via Giordano Bruno. Athletes tackled a 1 km city circuit repeated ten times, for a total distance of 10 km in the historic center.

The event, included in the calendar of celebrations for the city's patron saint and organized by ASD Atletica Misterbianco (Santo Baudo and Santo Spina) in collaboration with FIDAL, confirmed the success of the relaunch initiated in 2024 after years of suspension, reaffirming Misterbianco's role as the capital of Sicilian road running for one evening.
