Edition 2025 — Marefestival Salina
The 14th edition of the Marefestival took place from June 13 to 15, 2025. On Friday, activities centered around the port of Marina di Salina and the square of Santa Marina Salina, while the heart of the festival moved to Malfa for Saturday and Sunday.
The Lifetime Achievement Troisi Award was presented to director Cristina Comencini, accompanied by a screening of her film Il treno dei bambini. The festival also featured a tribute to 1980s Italian comedy with Massimo Boldi, Ezio Greggio, and Marina Suma. Events included a panel on health featuring a documentary on endometriosis and the "Health Village," offering free screenings and medical check-ups. Patron Maria Grazia Cucinotta reaffirmed her special bond with the island.
