The 2025 edition in the land of Negroamaro
On May 1, 2025, Villa Baldassarri, a district of Guagnano in the province of Lecce, hosted the seventh edition of the Marcia – Terre del Negroamaro, a stage of the Puglia Walking Trophy organized by ASD Abacus Villa Baldassarri with the support of the Municipality of Guagnano and FIDAL.
The event took place in conjunction with the historic Corsa Terre del Negroamaro, now in its twenty-first edition, offering a full day dedicated to athletics with the start from Piazza Aldo Moro. Hundreds of athletes of all categories, from the youngest to the elite, ran through the town streets and surrounding vineyards. The sporting aspect was accompanied by a civic message, promoting a culture of respect and awareness against violence against women.
