Marcia delle Terre Veleiate

2025 Edition

The twelfth edition of the Marcia delle Terre Veleiate was held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, with gathering from 7:30 AM and open departure until 9:30 AM from the square next to the Veleia archaeological area, in front of the church of Sant'Antonino, in Lugagnano Val d'Arda (PC).

Participants could choose from three routes: 6 km (approx. 250 m elevation gain), 12 km (approx. 500 m), and 18 km (approx. 850 m), with minimal asphalt sections, trails, and dirt tracks through the woods of the upper Val Chero. Along the route, there were refreshment points every 5 km with drinks and snacks, water stations, volunteers, and an ambulance at the starting point. The participation fee was 5 euros, and the proceeds were donated to local volunteer organizations.
