March of Memory - on the footsteps of the Resistance

The 21st edition of the March of Memory - on the footsteps of the Resistance took place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, marking the 81st anniversary of the Montalto massacre. The day followed the usual schedule: laying of the wreath in Tolentino's Piazza della Libertà, gathering in the industrial area of Caldarola with free shuttles, departure of the march at 10:00 AM, and a route of approximately 8.5 km through Vestignano and the Montalto Valley. Upon arrival at Villa di Montalto, lunch was shared, followed in the afternoon by a concert by Ribelli della Montagna. The organization was handled by ANPI of Tolentino and Caldarola, the Marche Region, and the Municipalities of Belforte del Chienti, Caldarola, Camporotondo di Fiastrone, Cessapalombo, Serrapetrona, and Tolentino.
