Marcarolo Film Festival 2025 — 15th Edition

The fifteenth edition was spread over three days and three locations in the Piedmontese Apennines.

• August 15 (Ferragosto) — Gavi Fort: screening of the documentary Common Ground by Josh and Rebecca Tickell, winner of the 2024 Slow Food Award at CinemAmbiente, dedicated to sustainable agriculture.
• August 16 — Park Authority headquarters, Bosio: screening of Tra le case abbandonate (Among the abandoned houses) by Paolo Rossi and Nicola Rebora, about the wildlife reclaiming abandoned Apennine villages, with the photography exhibition Il gatto dei boschi (The wildcat).
• August 17 — Cascina Moglioni Ecomuseum, Capanne di Marcarolo: hike "The wisdom of trees", presentation of I custodi del tempo (The guardians of time) on monumental trees, and screening of Sui sentieri del lupo (On the wolf's trails) regarding wolf monitoring, with naturalists and volunteers from Life WolfAlps.

Organized by the Cascina Moglioni Ecomuseum with the CinemAmbiente Festival, the municipalities of Gavi and Bosio, the Piedmont Ecomuseum Network, FAI, and Slow Food, the edition confirmed the festival as a benchmark for environmental cinema in Piedmont.
