2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Maratonina Pretuziana May 1st Race took place as per tradition on the first day of May in Teramo, Abruzzo. The format confirmed the two sides of the event: in the morning, the 5 km non-competitive run starting from Piazza Martiri della Libertà, open to people of all ages, and in the afternoon, the competitive race through the streets of the historic center.

Organized by the Gruppo Podistico Amatori Teramo, the event attracted thousands of participants, including runners, families, and children, reaffirming the bond with the culinary tradition of the Virtù, the rich Teramo soup served precisely on May 1st. A day of sport, social connection, and civic identity that paved the way for the 45th-anniversary edition in 2026.
