2025 Edition
The 6th Maratona degli Ernici was held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, on the classic 44 km route from Sora to Veroli, with approximately 3,560 meters of positive elevation gain along the Ernici Mountains ridge. The event was included in the national IUTA calendar as a stage of the 14th IUTA 2025 Grand Prix UltraTrail.
The race was run in semi-self-sufficiency, with mandatory mountain equipment, three time gates (km 15 Vado di Rocca, km 18 Pizzo Deta, km 30 La Civita), and assistance guaranteed by an ambulance with a defibrillator and the Alpine Rescue team. Registration fees ranged from €40 (until July 31) to €60 (from October 1st to 8th), with registration closing early on the Digitalrace platform. Approximately 90 finishers reached the finish line in Veroli, confirming the selectivity of one of the toughest mountain races in the Lazio region.
